I consider it an honor and pleasure to lead the great firefighters of our organization each and every day. I speak for all of our firefighters when I say we truly enjoy our job, helping others, training aggressively, and being a family-oriented organization. 

Our daily duties consist of a wide variety of things; from testing hose, hydrants, ladders, pumps, and cleaning the fire station, to training, fire prevention activities, installing smoke detectors, or conducting a fire station tour. My roles as the Fire Chief include; managing the budget, community meetings, county fire chief meetings, personnel management, and overseeing each and every aspect of the organization. The days of sitting around and playing checkers and waiting for a call are long gone!

Our organization is committed to preserving life and property through emergency response, education through prevention activities, code enforcement, and mitigation of emergencies. We are servants, and provide a wide array of services to those in our communities, those who travel through our fire district, and also those in other surrounding fire districts through automatic and mutual aid agreements. We pride ourselves on serving the community with integrity, honor and the highest level of professionalism.
